About the Journal

El-Mahara: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Arab is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Dar El-Mahara Center, Indonesia. The journal provides a scholarly platform for the publication and dissemination of original research, conceptual papers, and systematic literature reviews in the fields of Arabic language education, Arabic language and literature, and educational sciences. Its scope includes Arabic language teaching and learning, curriculum and instruction, Arabic language assessment, educational technology, teaching methodologies, Arabic linguistics, Arabic literature, teacher professional development, educational management, and contemporary issues related to the development of Arabic language and literature education.

As a multilingual journal, El-Mahara: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Arab accepts manuscripts written in Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, and English. The journal is committed to providing an international scholarly forum that facilitates the exchange of ideas, research findings, and innovative practices among academics, researchers, lecturers, teachers, education practitioners, and scholars in the field of Arabic language and education.

Every submitted manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening followed by a peer-review process conducted by experts in the relevant fields. The review process is intended to ensure the academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, and scholarly contribution of each manuscript prior to publication. Authors are fully responsible for the content, arguments, data, and conclusions presented in their published articles, in accordance with accepted standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.

El-Mahara: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Arab has been published twice a year, in June and December, since 2023. The journal welcomes scholarly contributions from academics, researchers, lecturers, teachers, students, and practitioners from Indonesia and around the world who are engaged in the development of Arabic language education, Arabic studies, and related educational sciences. Through the dissemination of high-quality scholarly works, the journal aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge, innovation, and professional practice in Arabic language and literature education at both national and international levels.
