By submitting a manuscript to Bidayah: Journal of Islamic Education, the author(s) agree to the journal’s copyright and licensing policy. The author(s) confirm that the submitted work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
License
All articles published in Bidayah: Journal of Islamic Education are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits anyone to share (copy and redistribute) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon) the work for any purpose, including commercial use, provided appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the journal.
Users must provide proper attribution, include a link to the license, and indicate if any changes were made. Attribution must not suggest endorsement by the author(s) or the journal.
Author Warranties
The author(s) warrant that the manuscript is original, written by the stated author(s), and does not contain unlawful content. All co-authors have approved the submission and agree to the journal’s copyright and license terms.
The manuscript does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. Any necessary permissions to use or reproduce third-party materials have been obtained by the author(s).
User and Public Rights
Bidayah: Journal of Islamic Education is committed to the open dissemination of scholarly knowledge. In accordance with the CC BY 4.0 license, users are permitted to copy, distribute, display, adapt, and build upon published works for any purpose, provided that proper attribution is given to the author(s) and the journal.
Rights of Authors
Authors retain full copyright of their published works. They have the right to use their articles in future works such as books, lectures, or academic presentations. Authors may reproduce and share their published work, including self-archiving in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic platforms, provided that a proper citation to the original publication in the journal is included.
Co-Authorship
In the case of multiple authors, the corresponding author confirms that all co-authors have agreed to the submission and to the copyright and licensing terms. The journal communicates only with the corresponding author and is not responsible for internal disputes among authors.
Miscellaneous
The journal reserves the right to edit manuscripts for clarity, style consistency, formatting, spelling, and referencing standards without altering the academic content. Once published, all articles are made freely accessible to the public.
Preprints may be shared prior to submission; however, the Creative Commons license applies only upon official publication in Bidayah: Journal of Islamic Education.
