The journal provides a scholarly platform for the publication and dissemination of original research, conceptual papers, and systematic literature reviews in the field of Islamic education. Its scope includes Islamic education, curriculum and instruction, teaching and learning in schools, madrasahs, and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), educational policy, educational leadership, educational management, teacher professional development, educational technology, and contemporary issues related to the advancement of Islamic education. The journal accepts manuscripts written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
As an Open Access journal, Naskah: Journal of Islamic Education (NJIE) ensures that all published articles are freely accessible, readable, downloadable, and shared for academic purposes with appropriate attribution to the authors. Every submitted manuscript undergoes a rigorous editorial screening followed by a Double-Blind Peer Review process conducted by experts in the relevant field to ensure academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, and significant scholarly contribution while adhering to internationally recognized publication ethics.
The journal welcomes submissions from academics, researchers, lecturers, education practitioners, policymakers, and graduate students who are engaged in the development of Islamic education. Naskah: Journal of Islamic Education (NJIE) is published twice a year, in June and December, and is committed to advancing knowledge and promoting innovation in Islamic education through the dissemination of high-quality scholarly research at both national and international levels.
